Guillaume Beinat

Born in 1979 in Toulouse.
After having studied applied arts and plastic arts (Graduated with honors) from 1999 to 2006, he travelled around Europe, Asia and continued his work as a photographer and graphic designer by participating in meetings about image such as «l’été photographique Lectoure», or experimental video festivals. By 2008, along with Oze Tajada, and Benjamin Stoop he created the book «Tazas». Now, he is teaching graphic design in Art school and continues the Tazasproject as coordinator with Alexandre Suné and Dominique Vial. «Linking all the categories in which G. Beinat intervenes remains difficult and is perhaps not the most important thing for a work that thrives on many fronts; photography, editing, installation, video. His plays are realized according to the mode of onset most appropriate, without a medium priority more than another. The work of G.Beinat is protean, most often it is inspired by his travels and his daily observations of transitions in spaces and different forms codes used in graphics art to structure the space and how it is read».
