QRT.Ø

The "QRT.Ø" project is an exploration of different territories based around the creation of the QR code and augmented reality systems. Graphic design and scenography by Guilllaume Beinat, motion and generative visuals by Jeremy Delhuvenne, interactivity and augmented reality by Alexandre Sun and internet and intelligent interfaces by Dominique Vial. Through the connection of their artistic ambitions, the artists present a unified creative installation which brings the audiance into a digital realtime experience. The installation was designed to codify and manipulate reality (objects, walls, etc) in a virtual space with the help of mobile telephone and tactile surfaces.

Exhibition, gallery GHP, Toulouse. From 22th october to 14th november 2010.

" Tactil Jukebox #01 "

Jukebox tactile

Presented as part of «Les Nuits Sonores» festival, here the tactile table allows you to listen and mix tracks from the selection offered by La petite (organizer of the festival). To adjust the volume just turn the cup.

"QR cube light"

Cube QR

The cube is a unique light fixture where the QR codes are revealed and identified by the presence of light. Flash the QR code, watch, read or listen to the work presented.

"The game of life*"

Le jeu de la vie

The concept is to compose a QR code with the cubes provided. Once constructed, the code can be flashed to reveal "the game(s) of life."

* The Game of Life, also known simply as Life, is a cellular automaton devised by the British mathematician John Horton Conway in 1970. The "game" is a zero-player game, meaning that its evolution is determined by its initial state, requiring no further input. One interacts with the Game of Life by creating an initial configuration and observing how it evolves.

"AR Machine #01"

Visionneuse Réalité Augmentée

The augmented reality machine reads elements exposed and transforms while magnifying them upon the walls from a flyer for the exhibition or on of the T-shirts. With special points call "markers", the AR machine reads the various shapes and triggers animations.

"QR wall"

Le mur de QR

The QR Wall is dedicated to switch between reality and virtual motion. The user is projected as a code communication into the animated world and narrative which is composed when the code is flashed.

" QR posters"

Posters

The posters introduce different themes with reference to the digital, data-based world. Between message, thought and the poetry of cyber space, static graphics are transformed by motion.
