A few years ago a movement was started between three friends, Oze from Spain, Benjamin and Guillaume from France, based around one desire: to write using shapes. Signing, aligning, outlining, smudging, drawing, composing, merging, printing, dressing, and calibrating, the three began to colaborate and Tazas became the "recipient" of their work. From one space to another, the graphical dream began in a revisited form : the exquisite corpse. A canvas without a frame, this form of expression allowed the Tazas project to be the “container” of a common knowledge. Together they created their own artistic grammar by whose syntax they began to question the picture that has been emerging from books & television landscapes for a long time. Following the example of book or comics, Tazas is an “object” that uses the visual culture of each one. The articulation of these illustrations gives the reader the freedom to compose his own reading and to associate the imagemarker of his own universe, past or present.
